Letting the Good Times Roll.

My friend, Lucy, finally took her MCAT yesterday so we went out to celebrate. I haven't been out much lately for a couple of reasons 1) schoolwork is overbearing, 2) I live too far away, and 3) no saying I get hit on all the time but when I do, I just can't even handle it anymore, par example:

We went to this new bar that was totally whacky and weird, very normal for the location. The bar was like a display case of this you could buy like jewelry and little figurines. Also there was a Shakeweight, how freaky are those things? So we get drinks and sit at a table, one of the girls goes to the restroom so we now have an open chair. We this guy comes over and just butts into the conversation then all the sudden introduces himself as Andrew. He then proceeds to go around the table and have us introduce ourselves, and I, of course, was Aurora... my pseudonym for occasions such as these. No else could come up with anything. Suckers.

He then tells us that he just moved here from Oregon.. 4 years ago. What the heck? I was like "well me too, welcome to the neighborhood?" I mean he 'just' moved here... what a joke. And usual nice me would have gone on to talk about Oregon since that's where Blake lives but I just want the poor kid to leave so instead I just say "My boyfriend is from Oregon he lives in Corvallis, and what part are you from?' "Salem" "Oh, with all the witches?" "Yeah I guess.." "Well it was nice meeting you Andrew, have a great night." and with that, he takes his cue and leaves.... halleluja.

The rest of the night we went to a couple other bars and just had a grand ole time.

Today I went to pick Briana up from the airpot (she got me an Einstein's gift card.. she knows me too well) and I had to run down to campus to pick up the rest of Blake and my's pictures from Lexi. As we were heading back to her house we are at a stoplight when all of the sudden the in car next to us... this guy (who I originally thought was a girl due to the blond ponytail) starts vomiting out of the side of his car!?! Just projectile barfing all over the place... and more than 5 times at least. It was nuts! Briana was worried what the status of his driving ability would be and we were anticipating him to pullover, but like a college co ed champion... he drove on. Freak.

Some people are so weird.

Party Hole...Pause.

First of all, I stand corrected. My wonderful boyfriend just pointed out to me that when he first told me he 'still loved chicken' was when my family was visiting my grandparents in Virginia one Christmas and his family was living there at the time so we met up. It was at Potomac Hills Mall and we were catching up. He wins :)

Okay, second of all... I cannot believe I forgot to blog about this until now but I must recall an experience I had recently at the golf course:

It was about 3 or 4 weeks ago and I was on the schedule to be a 'keg girl' for one of the tournaments being hosted at the course. The tournament was for the Easter Seals Foundation which is a great cause for helping in disability services. Well the hold a tournament once a year, huge event with a million volunteers, 3 kegs at different holes, and just non stop gimmicks for buying raffle tickets.

I was first assigned to help put the kegs at each hole and then my designated hole... (Oh now I remember I did talk about this briefly because it was on April Fools Day and everyone thought it was my birthday, okay so you have a little info already). Anyway I was on hole 12 where if you thought you could hit the ball farther that a former university basketball player than you could double your tickets for the raffle. He was so bad at golf but so good at geting guys to buy tickets because he would even go first... so they all bought and all doubled. He may have even hit a bunny at one point... we heard a yelp.

Well the keg was free for players and volunteers so needless to say everyone at my hole was drunk. Also need I remind you my prank that day was that it was my birthday so everyone would drink extra because of me. But the worst part was, my tap was broken. I had to constantly keep pumping to get anything to come out (that's what she said) and I had to do it for a whole minute at one point because it wouldn't hold any pressure. So needless to say with a shotty tap, a tent full of drunkards, and everyone calling us the 'Party Hole'... it was a day full of 'that's what she saids'... which are my favorite, and I rarely miss one.

Well the former football player would help me pump the keg and he was telling me that the new thing is to say 'pause' instead. He gave the example that he and the basketball guy were at Subway when the lady behind the counter suggested he put pepperoni on his sandwich. He asked her why she would do that and she said "Well, its like an explosion in your mouth" and he said "Pause.... nah I don't nothing exploding in my mouth!"... everything thought that was the funniest thing ever so the new word is 'pause'.

There we a lot of local celebrities at the event. The Appliance King who has the most outrageous commercials and then shows up about 4'11''... He tried to fix my tap... didn't work again. Then some traffic announcer was there too. I hope I'm not considered a local yet....
